Files open as completely empty in Dreamweaver -


while using dreamweaver connected website , attempted work on file on remote server (the actual site server) , when opened there no code @ all. when logged actual site, file functioned , when went file manager on actual site, file fine. please help! ,when try open file, gives me error "this page may have dynamically-related files can discovered server" when tell dreamweaver try , discover them tells me "could not resolved". have never had dynamic file thing pop , not have dynamically-related files aware of, not know , opened these same files without issue last week when updated some.

found answer, corrupted cache. followed directions here:

dreamweaver's cache kept in file in configuration folder. file name depends on os:

for windows  winfilecache-<randomstring>.dat  mac  macfilecache-<randomstring>.dat    deleting of file clears cache. after restarting dreamweaver creating new one. location of cache file differs each version , operating system. here list of locations depending on dw version , os:  dreamweaver cc:      vista, 7 & 8: c:\users\<username>\appdata\roaming\adobe\dreamweaver cc\<language>\configuration     xp: c:\documents , settings\<username>\application data\adobe\dreamweaver cc\<language>configuration\

once cleared , rebooted , restarted worked fine!
