Testing email system in SharePoint 2013 environment -


i've been trying set working mail server in dev environment, without success. need test incoming mails imagelibrary. need easy way set up, , cant use exchange. trying hmailserver work, no luck. done config outlook13/sharepoint13 hmailserver incoming mail?

i recommend try smtp4dev, great tool testing email capabilities in sharepoint.

smtp4dev - windows 7/vista/xp/2003/2010 compatible dummy smtp server. sits in system tray , not deliver received messages. received messages can viewed, saved , source/structure inspected. useful testing/debugging software generates email
