timer - How do I know my whole android application is not running anymore or closed? -


i have timer perform task instance, every 10 seconds.

the problem want know application has been closed in activity in, end runnable timer , task within it. implemented using ondestroy on activity current activity in, tried onterminate in application class it's not triggered , it's discouraged.

so how this? there ondestroy equivalent in application class?
