Magento New Installation - Backend is working however frontend points to the old URL -


tried recommendation on several threads. here issue. admin working , updated new db fine. when view site frontend product data, images, , links point original site.

i began creating new db , importing of other magento db. db has different name, login , pw different well.

i modified secure , unsecure urls in core_config_data table. installed fresh copy of magento (same version old site ver. 1.7.0.2).

i emptied log tables contained old url well.

i looked @ local.xml file had correct settings.

please keep in mind have not added source files old site. olny thing old site db.

any other advice huge! in advance.

i never bottom of it. uploaded fresh install of magento , imported data , worked.
