cordova - Bootstrap 3 Glyphicons on IOS display something else -


i'm new phonegap/cordova. tried writing small app using bootstrap 3, , running "cordova serve" produces expected results on browsers. however, running "cordova emulate ios" running resulting app on actual iphone produces weird results glyphicons.

i think op here (bootstrap 3.0.3 glyphicons displaying emoticons on ios 7) had similar problem, , seemed have found solution, did not elaborate. unfortunately, have few reps comment on question ask him did specifically.
