visual c++ - Porting C++ OpenCV program to Ubuntu -


i have complete program uses opencv have written in c++ on microsoft visual studio 2010. have been asked assess possibility of getting program running on ubuntu server, of have no experience.

as such, questions are:

1 - 1 have tutorial porting applications c++ windows ubuntu? 2 - on scale of 1-10 (1=easy) how difficult be? 3 - ubuntu running on server, make difference opencv?

i have had 0 experience ubuntu step step guide great if can help!

  1. if have written program in standard c++, have no problem compiling. problem might example in linking libraries using. depending on complexity of project, might have find adequate building system, cmake. it's better if implement latter first in windows. did build opencv? same ubuntu, not use distribution opencv packages available ubuntu.

  2. if have knows ubuntu assisting you, smoother.

  3. no difference, if use normal work station. if access remotely, might have solve visualization issues.
